PROFILE OF MATERDEI NUSANTARA VOCATIONAL SCHOOL
Initially it was a dream to build a high quality boarding school in East Kalimantan. The Archbishop of Samarinda Mgr. Yustinus Harjosusanto MSF gave the task to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Indonesian Province of Samarinda to build such a school. The name of the school is SMA Mater Dei Nusantara. SMA Mater Dei Nusantara will be managed professionally with quality management, with a boarding and tutoring system, to develop young people who are innovative, transformative and caring, have insight and a national spirit, have ecological awareness, and are able to be the leader. Apart from using the National Curriculum, SMA Mater Dei Nusantara will also be colored by the spirituality of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Virgin Mary and the National Curriculum. SMA Mater Dei Nusantara will be built on a seven-hectare land in Balikpapan Km.10.5 which is located between Balikpapan, Samarinda and the Capital City of Nusantara. Mater Dei Nusantara High School will be built as an environmentally friendly building with local cultural nuances that supports creative learning communities in an atmosphere of living together as a family.
